The result is a procedure that compiles into a workflow an agent can run, rather than a document someone has to interpret.

How this reduces training, not just adds another system

Once a workflow is encoded as a smart agent’s procedure, knowledge transfer looks different.

  2. Extract the logic.
    Work with the people who run it to capture the actual decision rules they use, including edge cases.

  3. Write an agent‑ready procedure.
    Turn the SOP into a structured, step‑by‑step AOP: triggers, inputs, branches, actions, and escalations.

  4. Implement and supervise.
    Deploy a smart agent to run the procedure on a subset of cases, with humans reviewing and correcting its work.

  5. Iterate and expand.
    Once the agent matches human performance, expand scope and repeat the pattern for the next SOP.
